Angela began to emerge in ministry in the mid 80’s as a teen choir director.  After high school she studied English Education at St. Augustine’s College now University from 1986- 1989.  In 1992, Angela completed a Business Administration Degree from Harbarger-Phillips Business College in Raleigh, NC.  God began to prepare her for His Kingdom.

In 2003 Angela assisted in the launch of a ministry serving as Associate Minister, worship leader, ministry coordinator, teacher and ministry trainer, and evangelistic outreach leader for five years at Maranatha Fellowship.  In addition to her outreach and Events Planner career, she defined her craft by enrolling at Wake Technical Community College’s Continuing Education Program.  In 2010 she received a Certificate of Completion as a Wedding and Events Planner while volunteering as the Event Coordinator with Wake Technical Community College’s Pathways, a Male Mentoring Program.

Her professional career has been with Wake County Public Schools.  She served as the Regional Manager for the Central and Eastern Branches of North Carolina for GLD, Inc. Angela has worked with Wake Technical Community College Continuing Education Department, the Office of the Governor in the Budget and Management Division, and the state of North Carolina’s Division of Emergency Management, Homeland Security.  

In 2017 Angela was licensed and ordained at Raleigh North Christian Center under the auspices of Apostle Dr. Jeffrey Chapman, Sr., and Lady Sandie Chapman. There she served on the Altar Ministry, Intercessory Prayer Ministry as co-leader, the Deaconess Ministry, the Compassionate Care Ministry, Praise Team Worship Leader and sang in the choir.

October 19, 2019, Woven Ministries was launched and continues to serve as a beacon of hope for many.  Prayer and evangelism remain the heart of the ministry.  She is a member of the of North Carolina Association of Women in Ministry and serves as Chaplain for Franklin County.  

June of 2022, Angela obtained a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Safe Haven Interdenominational Bible College and Training Institute and was award class Salutatorian.  June of 2023, she received her second Master’s Degree in Evangelism from the same College and was awarded class Valedictorian.  

June 28, 2025, with God’s mercy, Angela obtained a Doctorate Degree in Apostolic Ministry and Evangelism from Safe Haven Interdenominational Bible College and Training Institute.

Angela and her husband James reside in Raleigh, NC.  Together they enjoy sharing business and ministry.  They are blessed with a blended family of six adult children, Erica, Angelica, Eric, and his wife, Brianna, CJ, and his wife Alyssa, Christopher, Dominique, and five adorable grandchildren, Marcel, Alana, Cam, Ariel, and Havilah.
